Sometimes when I wake at 4am or whatever hour it may be ( no earlier than that I promise) I decide to get up and start my day instead of tossing and turning, trying to go back to sleep.
I patter downstairs and make myself a cup of tea, as quietly as I possibly can, unusual that my noises wake them but just in case.
Then I retreat to my sanctuary, otherwise know as the garage, sewing space, storage space...etc, etc.
I love early mornings, occasionally I might get a bit tired during the afternoon, but usually its this quiet time in the morning when I can think about my day, what I need to do and sometimes I even start then.
Other times I just sit back and read some blogs while drinking my cuppa. When you have a house as full as mine sometimes quiet is very hard to acheive! ESPECIALLY when they are all on school holidays and the husband is home as well......find a quiet place for myself for 5 seconds to just think...pft almost impossible.
So when people say to me, why on earth would you get up at that time...I like them to try and imagine my house in the morning, chaotic can sometimes be an understatement.
Wouldnt change it for the world though!!
